In recent years, Memorial Day has become the “unofficial” start-of-summer as kids shed their school backpacks and grab their bicycles, swimsuits, paddle boards, beach towels, tennis racquets or even golf clubs and hit up the activities that they cherish most each summer. But, most importantly, it’s the weekend during which we take time to honor men and women who gave it all while serving in the U.S. military.
